A fun day!

Our local parade for the 4th of July was Saturday morning. Aaron and Kristen were gone on a camping trip with Aunt Kay and Uncle Nicky so Morgan, Ian, Papa and Mama decided to get up and head down to watch the parade. It was not a big parade but still fun for the kids nontheless! We were a bit early so instead of sitting in the heat outside we waited in the car for a few minutes. Momo and Ian unbuckled and played in the back seat while we waited.

Then it was time for the parade to start!

The motorized outhouse!

The civil war soldiers firing their guns!

After the parade we took Papa home. Morgan and Ian finished their first 10 hours for the summer reading program and we decided to use some of the coupons in their rewards booklet to have some fun since the big kids were away. First we ate lunch (free with coupons for Taco Bell). Then we headed over to a fun place called Leapin' Lizzards. It is a play place with lots of HUGE inflatables to play in. We had lots of fun and even better was the fact it was FREE thanks to coupons!! There was one birthday party just finishing up when we got there but they left within a few minutes and besides one other mama and her two kids, we had the entire place to ourselves for 2 hours!! The kids had a blast running all over playing. After playing for a couple hours, we were then off to get ice cream (another freebie coupon!) and then to Walmart for a few groceries. Momo said she couldn't BELIEVE she got to do all that fun stuff in one day!! HAHAH! Of course, I took way too many pictures but here they are anyway!

This inflatable is a huge caterpillar that is so cute. It has two slides inside it!

The Candyland Castle Inflatable!

Inside the dinosaur bounce house!

Climbing the giant slide!

They have all sorts of bouncy balls and beach balls all over for kids to play with which Ian loved!

Another inflatable, this one is sort of an obstacle course one!

Momo coming down the Jurasic Park inflatable slide!

Momo about to go into the caterpillar again!

"playing" the arcade games!

How fun! What a great time for the little ones. Doesn't if feel strange when you only have part of your children somewhere like that?
Love the pics!
