Another day at the beach!

We love the beach! It is just so relaxing. We got up early and headed out around 8:45. We had a couple stops to make(gas and grabbing some subs to take, thanks to the free coupons from the library) and we were off! We got to the beach by 10:30. It was not crowded at all and the tide was coming in so there were lots of big waves. We ate, then played, and played and played. We went walking for a bit up and down the beach. Then Kristen got stung by a jellyfish!! Not 5 minutes after the first sting, she got another one! So, around 1:00 we decided to walk down the pier and stop for ice cream cones in the pavillion. On the way back to our spot, Kristen got stung AGAIN!! We saw 3 other people that got stung before we made it to our stuff. By this time, Kristen was not getting in the water, (can't say I blamed her, I didn't get in either!) Aaron decided he would brave it but it didn't take long and he got hit!! We were all sort of laughing because nobody was getting in the water, we were saying it was like someone had screamed shark or something! We figured because the tide was in, it has brought them all up. It was almost 3pm and we were all ready to go, and since nobody was getting in the water, we packed up and headed home. It didn't take long and everyone was crashed out on the way home! We stopped and grabbed some shrimp and crab legs to cook. After we got home, showered (nothing is better than a shower after the beach!) and ate a yummy dinner we just hung out. Kristen went over the her friend's to watch a movie and the rest of us went next door to the pool for a bit. Then after a long fun day it was BEDTIME!! Another great family day....minus the jellyfish!
