School, Ice, Cookout, and Robins! How Is That For Random?

I guess you can tell from the title, this is just a post of randomness. This picture makes me happy!! Aaron is not a reader by choice, it is not his favorite thing to do. However, he has really been into this book and I walked in to this scene a few days ago!!! He was reading!!!! Even better, he was enjoying reading!!!

Morgan worked on her Happy, Healthy Me pocketbook. She hasn't quite finished it yet but almost so we will have some more pictures of the completed book soon.

Here is one of the activities Morgan finished !

Kristen is working on a lapbook for geography.

We had some really cold nights last week....well, cold for south Georgia!! Kristen wanted to make icicles so we left the sprinkle running over night. This is what we found in the morning.

Last Friday and Saturday I went on a trip with some of the church youth girls. We had a great time at the Revolve Tour in Orlando. Here is the group that went!!

I think spring is just around the corner......we have had some robins visiting the past week or so.

This week has been fun too. Sunday morning at church, we has Simple Grace visiting and singing for us. We were excited when we arrived at coop and they were still there ( not our church but the church we go to for coop). Some of them came in a sang a couple songs for us at the end of our classes. Later Monday night, the two youth bands were invited out for a cookout to hang out with the boys from Simple Grace. We had a great time!! They played football, ate, did some target shooting, hung out and of course there was some music involved too. Since we were outside and it was more a laid back kind of night, Aaron didn't have his drums but he did have the Bongo drum we borrowed from the church.

Wednesday the weather was gorgeous. Kristen went outside to read but she came back inside before I could get a picture. Morgan thought that was the perfect place to read too, so when Kristen was finished, she went out. Kristen snapped these pictures for me. Morgan is reading another Magic Tree House book.

More fun coming up!!!

Those icicles are just too cool!

We had a robin out in the yard the other day. I am so ready for spring to be here.

Your cookout sure looks like it was great fun with all of those people. Wow!

I love doing that on a freeze! :) My Grandpa used to do it for us in a big willow he has. I need to do this for my children one day.
